Coach Greg Lavalla

One of the best Youth Coaches in FCFL history , Coach Lavalla was a legendary advocate for teaching sportsmanship and the love of the game of football.  He made such a huge positive impact on the lives of so many young FCFL Football players and taught so many Youth Coaches how to positively lead their youth football teams regardless of the score.  That was one of Coach Lavalla's biggest contributions to the FCFL League Philosophy, "That all youth coaches need to think about the self esteem of both teams." We encourage healthy competition, but Coach Lavalla believed the best game day victory was not a 28-0 shutout, it was a 28-7 win where the other team had something to cheer about and to build on.  Coach Lavalla was special and his philosophy was all about the kids and making sure every kid that played FCFL Football had great memories of each and every season.  Coach Lavalla's voice and smile could be seen and heard all over any football field when he coached.  He is one of the very best Youth Coaches that the FCFL has ever had and we miss him.  Capiche!
